Nitish Kumar Mourns the Loss of Former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh

Patna, Dec 27 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar, conveyed his sorrow over the passing of former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, who departed this world on Thursday at the age of 92 in Delhi.
In a post on X, Nitish Kumar remarked: "The passing of our former Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, is indeed heartbreaking. He was a remarkable politician and economist. His leadership provided a new impetus to India's economy. The loss of Dr. Manmohan Singh represents an irretrievable void in Indian politics. I pray for the eternal peace of his soul."
The Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Assembly, Tejashwi Yadav, also shared his heartfelt condolences regarding the former Prime Minister's passing.
"History will not only remember you but will also be your admirer, Sir!! I extend my deepest condolences on the passing of the father of economic reforms in our nation, the architect of economic transformation, a formidable personality, a distinguished politician, and guardian, Dr. Manmohan Singh. I pray for a place for this noble soul at God's lotus feet.
"Sardar Dr. Manmohan Singh presided over a period of historic progress and development for our economy and country for decades. His wisdom, tolerance, foresight, humility, and dedication will be remembered forever. Along with his gentle nature, his positive, uplifting, and inspiring words will continue to motivate me," Tejashwi Yadav expressed on X.
The Bihar unit Congress President, Akhilesh Prasad Singh, shared his profound sorrow as well, stating: "As the most successful Prime Minister of the 21st century, he will always serve as an inspiration. Every citizen and every party worker honors this great son of the nation."
The unfortunate passing of Dr. Manmohan Singh signifies the conclusion of an era. He served as India’s Prime Minister for two consecutive terms from 2004 to 2014 and was instrumental in the 1991 economic liberalization that laid the groundwork for India's contemporary economic growth.
