Bhubaneswar, Jan 25 (NationPress) In anticipation of the Utkarsh Odisha - Make in Odisha conclave 2025 set to commence on January 28, the Odisha government on Friday sanctioned a series of industrial ventures totaling an investment of ₹32,736 crore across diverse sectors.
This significant approval occurred during the 39th High-Level Clearance Authority (HLCA) meeting held here on Friday.
"During the 39th HLCA meeting, the state endorsed investments amounting to ₹32,736 crore for eight groundbreaking industrial initiatives. These projects encompass sectors such as Chemicals, Green energy equipment, Shipbuilding & repair, and Steel. The anticipated investments are projected to create employment opportunities for over 18,688 individuals, further solidifying Odisha's industrial and economic framework," the state government stated in a press release on Friday.
The HLCA convened for the second time this month in preparation for the highly awaited Utkarsh Odisha 2025.
Additionally, the state government asserted that the successful roadshows conducted in cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, and Singapore have sparked considerable investor interest, prompting various companies to consider investments in Odisha.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi remarked, "The endorsement of these substantial projects prior to Utkarsh Odisha 2025 signifies our state's increasing industrial prowess.
