Pappu Yadav Faces Death Threat from Lawrence Bishnoi Gang

Patna, Nov 30 (NationPress) Rajesh Ranjan, who is better known as Pappu Yadav, an Independent Member of Parliament representing the Purnea Lok Sabha constituency, has been targeted with yet another death threat, purportedly from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, on Saturday.

The threat was communicated through a WhatsApp message, in which the sender ominously stated that Yadav would be killed within 24 hours. This alarming news has left both the MP and his supporters in a state of disbelief.

The individual behind the message urged Yadav to savor what they called the last day of his life.

Given the serious nature of these threats, a close associate recently presented Yadav with a bulletproof vehicle to bolster his security.

These threats are believed to be linked to Yadav's outspoken demeanor and his courageous opposition to organized crime, especially targeting the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Previously, Yadav had taken to social media to assert his commitment to dismantling the Lawrence Bishnoi gang's operations within 24 hours, should he be granted legal authority to do so. This bold declaration seems to have made him a prime target for vengeance.

The Lawrence Bishnoi gang is notorious for its involvement in significant criminal activities and recently claimed responsibility for the assassination of Nationalist Congress Party leader Baba Siddiqui in Mumbai.

Now, Pappu Yadav's vocal opposition to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang's operations appears to have intensified the situation, leading to a barrage of ongoing threats. This incident marks over 20 such threats he has received thus far.

The latest warning arrived from an individual purporting to be affiliated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, indicating that their operatives were close to Yadav and planned to execute their threat within 24 hours.

In light of the escalating threats, Pappu Yadav has penned a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, urging for increased security measures to protect his life.

He has also reached out to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, requesting enhanced security.

Nonetheless, both the Central government and the Bihar administration have yet to augment Yadav's security.

However, it is anticipated that authorities will evaluate his plea and implement necessary safety arrangements.

The persistent threats highlight the critical need for law enforcement to tackle such forms of criminal intimidation effectively.

This troubling situation has also caused personal distress, as his spouse and Congress MP Ranjit Ranjan has publicly distanced herself from him, declaring, "I have nothing to do with Pappu Yadav."
