New Delhi, Jan 27 (NationPress) The ninth installment of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s premier student engagement initiative, Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026, has reached a remarkable milestone, evolving into a comprehensive pan-India dialogue involving students from every corner of the nation.

Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) has transformed into a national movement, fueled by Prime Minister Modi’s vision to unite students, parents, teachers, and society, fostering an environment where each child’s uniqueness is acknowledged, nurtured, and encouraged to thrive without anxiety or pressure.

Historically held in Delhi with students convening at a singular venue, this year's edition has taken a pioneering step forward.

Modi connected directly with students from Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu, Raipur in Chhattisgarh, Dev Mogra in Gujarat, and Guwahati in Assam, symbolically linking the east, west, north, south, and the heart of India on one unified platform.

The participation scale in PPC 2026 highlights its increasing reach and popularity.

Over 4.5 crore individuals registered for the program, with an additional 2.26 crore actively engaging in various activities associated with Pariksha Pe Charcha.

This culminated in a total engagement exceeding 6.76 crore, emphasizing the program's expanding national scope.

Pariksha Pe Charcha has been conducted annually since 2018.

During the event, Modi interacts with students, teachers, and parents nationwide, offering insights on how to approach board and entrance exams with calm, confidence, and minimal stress, while also addressing broader topics related to education and personal development.

Participants are typically chosen through a nationwide competition.

Winners gain the chance to attend the event, and some interact directly with the Prime Minister, creating a memorable experience for students from varied backgrounds.

The eighth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha took place on February 10, 2025, at Sunder Nursery in New Delhi, introducing an innovative format.

It included 36 students from government schools, Kendriya Vidyalayas, Sainik Schools, Eklavya Model Residential Schools, CBSE institutions, and Navodaya Vidyalayas.

Alumni from the PRERANA initiative, along with winners from Kala Utsav and Veer Gatha, also participated in the interactions.

This edition was organized across seven separate episodes, each centering on themes like sports, discipline, mental health, nutrition, technology, financial literacy, creativity, and positivity, adding broader dimensions to the program.

Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025 also made history by achieving a Guinness World Record that year. It attracted participation from students in over 245 countries, teachers from 153 countries, and parents from 149 countries, showcasing its global impact among the Indian diaspora and educational stakeholders worldwide.

Participation in this initiative has dramatically increased over the years, soaring from just 22,000 participants in its inaugural 2018 edition to 3.56 crore registrations in 2025.

Furthermore, 1.55 crore individuals engaged in nationwide Jan Andolan activities related to PPC, bringing the total engagement close to 5 crore that year.

Recognized by Guinness World Records for achieving 3.53 crore registrations in 2025, Pariksha Pe Charcha now returns with its 2026 edition, aiming to further reinforce the message of joyful learning and foster a culture of stress-free examinations throughout the nation.
