Patna, September 1 (NationPress) — Patna is currently under enhanced security measures and traffic restrictions as the INDIA Bloc's 'Voter Adhikar Yatra' approaches its final day. With Assembly elections on the horizon in Bihar, the concluding event of the Yatra has evolved into a significant political and administrative undertaking.
The culmination of the 'Voter Adhikar Yatra' at Patna High Court has instigated strict traffic regulations.
Starting from 7 A.M. on Monday, the movement of autos, e-rickshaws, and private vehicles around Gandhi Maidan is prohibited.
Vehicles coming from Kurji, Ekta Bhawan, Ramgulam Chowk, Chhajjubaag, and Machhua Toli have been redirected away from Gandhi Maidan.
During the Yatra’s route through Dak Bungalow, traffic from Bhattacharya Road, Station Golambar, Kotwali, and Swaminandan is restricted. Only emergency vehicles are permitted entry.
Traffic police have confirmed that regular operations will resume once the program concludes.
A significant deployment of police forces is present around Gandhi Maidan.

Several educational institutions situated near Gandhi Maidan—including St. Xavier’s, Christ Church Diocesan School, and St. Joseph’s Bankipur—have declared a holiday on Monday to prevent any inconvenience to students caused by the march and traffic limitations.
The 'Voter Adhikar Yatra', which commenced on August 17 from Sasaram, has traversed 23 districts before concluding in Patna.
Notable figures such as Congress MP and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, CPI-ML General Secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya, VIP chief Mukesh Sahani, Congress Bihar President Rajesh Kumar Ram, and senior leaders from across the INDIA Bloc will address the final march in Patna.
The Trinamool Congress has sent MP Yusuf Pathan to participate in the concluding march. Alongside him, NCP leader Supriya Sule and Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut have also joined the procession.
