During the inauguration of a media summit, PM Modi urged every Indian to contribute towards realizing the goal of “Viksit Bharat 2047”, informing the youthful audience that reaching this target will yield numerous benefits for them.

He praised innovators who have recently developed the first “Made in India” MRI machine, highlighting it as a prime example of the nation’s manufacturing prowess.

PM Modi expressed regret that for many years, only imported MRI machines were utilized in the country. “Now with a made in India MRI machine, the cost of treatment will also decrease,” he stated, illustrating the advantages stemming from initiatives like Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat.

“Soon after Independence, there was a tendency to favor imported products. But that is no longer the case. Today, consumers inquire whether the products they are purchasing are ‘Made in India’,”

he remarked.

The Prime Minister indicated that the era when the world regarded India merely as a large market has ended. “Now the world views it as an extensive manufacturing hub,” he noted, referencing the mobile phone industry.

In 2014-15, our exports were under $1 billion, but a decade later, we have exceeded $20 billion, he stated.

“Today, India is evolving into a power center for the telecom and networking industries,” PM Modi asserted.

The automotive sector and its related component exports are also writing a new success story, he added.

“From a time when we relied on imports for motorcycle components, today we are exporting components to nations like UAE and Germany,” the PM explained.

“The solar energy sector is also achieving new heights as our solar cell and module exports have surged by 23 percent. Our defense exports have risen by 21 percent in the past decade,”

he remarked.

“All these accomplishments mirror the nation’s manufacturing strength and illustrate how new jobs are being generated within the sector,” PM Modi concluded.
