On social media platform X, Prime Minister Modi remarked, “I wish all my young friends a delightful experience and a joyful holiday. As I mentioned in last Sunday’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’, the summer break presents a fantastic chance to have fun, learn, and develop. Such initiatives are commendable in this regard.”
Previously, Tejasvi Surya posted on his X account celebrating the launch of the summer camp alongside Prime Minister Modi’s message from the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio broadcast.
Surya stated: “We have initiated a week-long Bengaluru South Summer Camp for children aged 8 to 14 years across 10 centers in our constituency. With activities like yoga and meditation, Gita recitation, dance fitness, self-defense, and drawing, approximately 2,500 young individuals are acquiring valuable skills during these holidays through these sessions. This aligns with PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ message, encouraging children to blend fun with learning this summer.”
Surya also shared some moments from his visit and interactions with the participants at the summer camp.
During the 120th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’, the Prime Minister addressed the audience regarding summer vacations and the significance of water conservation.
PM Modi underlined the necessity of making productive use of summer vacations.
He stated: "As exams approach, I address them through ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’. With exams underway, summer vacations are fast approaching. Children eagerly anticipate this time. The lengthy summer days provide ample opportunities for them to engage in diverse activities. It’s a perfect time to pursue a new hobby. Nowadays, there’s no scarcity of platforms for learning new skills."
"This vacation also presents an opportunity for community involvement. I encourage everyone to share activities organized by institutions using #MyHoliday to raise awareness among children and parents regarding such initiatives. Additionally, I will introduce a special 'Mera Bharat' calendar tailored for summer vacations. Through this study tour, participants can learn about the functioning of Jan Aushadhi Kendras, gain unique insights by visiting border villages, and partake in a padyatra on Ambedkar Jayanti to promote awareness about constitutional values. Share your experiences using #HolidayMemories."
