New Delhi, May 30 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his visit to Bihar, referenced the ideals of Lord Shri Ram -- "Pran jaaye par vachan na jaaye" (May life go but promises must be kept) and emphasized that these principles have become the cornerstone of governance.

Speaking at a large public gathering in Bihar’s Karakot, PM Modi declared that he has returned to the state after fulfilling his commitment to hold the perpetrators of the Pahalgam attack accountable.

“On April 22, terrorists took the lives of our brothers in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam. The following day, I visited Bihar and vowed to the nation from its soil that those who perpetrated terror against us and murdered our brothers would face severe consequences. I assured that they would be punished beyond imagination,” he stated.

“I have come back to Bihar having fulfilled my promises,” PM Modi asserted, drawing loud applause and cheers from the crowd.

He pointed out that those masterminds and handlers who directed terrorists in their mission to erase the sindoor of our sisters and mothers have seen their hideouts and bases reduced to rubble by our forces.

“Our forces have brought the Pakistani military to its knees. Pakistani airbases were obliterated in mere minutes. This is the New Bharat,” PM Modi proclaimed.

He highlighted that India’s Operation Sindoor demonstrated to Pakistan and the world the consequences of attacking our cultural symbols, such as the sindoor that women wear on their foreheads.

PM Modi also honored Imtiyaz, a BSF sub-inspector from the state, who gave his life during cross-border terror operations.

"I reiterate from the soil of Bihar -- Operation Sindoor is merely a testament to our military strength," he emphasized.

“India’s battle against terror continues. Should Pakistan employ terror tactics again, our forces will swiftly disarm them and their leaders,” PM Modi warned the assembly.
