New Delhi, Feb 13 (NationPress) Service and dedication to the populace, especially the vulnerable and marginalized groups, were at the forefront of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's inaugural decisions from the newly established office ‘Seva Teerth’. Taking charge at Kartavya Path on Friday, the Prime Minister commenced his agenda by signing off on pivotal initiatives that will significantly impact the lives of Lakhpati Didis, farmers, and the youth.

The measures launched at Seva Teerth comprise the PM RAHAT scheme, an ambitious target to elevate the number of Lakhpati Didis to six crore, an increase in the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund to Rs 2 lakh crore, and the introduction of a Startup India fund with a dedicated corpus of Rs 10,000 crore.

These groundbreaking decisions, marking the first from the new PMO office, are set to resonate across all societal segments, with the most significant advantages set to benefit farmers, women, youth, and marginalized communities.

1. PM RAHAT Scheme

The PM RAHAT Scheme is designed to act as a protective shield for citizens impacted by road accidents, ensuring prompt medical assistance for victims.

With the introduction of this scheme, those injured in accidents will be entitled to cashless medical treatment of up to Rs 1.5 lakh, guaranteeing that lives are not lost due to delayed medical intervention.

2. Doubling of the Target for Lakhpati Didis to Six Crore

PM Modi has ambitious plans to increase the number of Lakhpati Didis in India to six crore by March 2029, effectively doubling both the scale and aspirations of women nationwide.

The government has already surpassed the milestone of three crore Lakhpati Didis, achieving this feat well ahead of the original March 2027 deadline.

3. Agriculture Infrastructure Fund Increased to Rs 2 Lakh Crore

To fortify India's agricultural value chain, PM Modi has approved the doubling of the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund from Rs one lakh crore to Rs two lakh crore.

4. Startup India Fund FoF 2.0

The Prime Minister has also greenlit Startup India FoF 2.0 with a corpus of Rs 10,000 crore, which is poised to significantly bolster India's innovation landscape, particularly in areas like deep tech, early-stage ideas, advanced manufacturing, and cutting-edge technologies.

Earlier, PM Modi inaugurated the new complex named ‘Seva Teerth’, which accommodates the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS), and the Cabinet Secretariat.

This transition signifies a notable milestone as it marks the formal shift from the traditional PMO office at South Block to Seva Teerth, the new, state-of-the-art facility on Kartavya Path, formerly recognized as Rajpath.

Situated just about one kilometer from the iconic South Block on Raisina Hill, the new PMO office aims to serve as the cornerstone of governance, bringing the entire administrative setup closer together.
