Bikaner, May 22 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday emphasized that the security forces executed a swift retaliation against the April 22 terror assault within a mere 22 minutes by obliterating nine notorious terror bases across the border in Pakistan and PoK, under Operation Sindoor. He articulated that Operation Sindoor represents a new paradigm of justice for terrorists and their backers, alongside unveiling a three-pronged strategy for countering terrorism.
“In case of any terrorist incident on Indian soil, the adversary will face a formidable response. Our armed forces will determine the targets, timing, and methods of retaliation,” stated PM Modi.
“The second principle is that India's resolve will not be shaken by any nuclear threats, and the third is that terrorists, their handlers, and their supporting governments will be evaluated by a single standard,” he added, indicating that Pakistan's tactics of utilizing state and non-state actors will no longer serve as a cover for its overt support of terrorism.
In a stern admonition to terror sponsors, PM Modi declared that this is a New Bharat and Operation Sindoor symbolizes the nation's updated doctrine regarding the treatment and response to terror activities.
“Those who targeted our sisters and attempted to erase their sindoor, we have dismantled them completely. This is a new form of justice -- 'this is Operation Sindoor,” he asserted.
Highlighting the government's aggressive stance against terrorism over the last decade, PM Modi remarked, “Previously, we targeted them within their territory, but this time, we struck at the core of their operations.”
“Those who believed that India would remain passive are now trembling in fear. Those who bragged about their weaponry are now buried under the rubble,” he noted, emphasizing how the adversarial nation hesitated after the escalation prompted by Operation Sindoor.
The Prime Minister also conveyed that the nation stands united following the Pahalgam terror attack, asserting that the 140 crore citizens have committed to punishing terrorists beyond their wildest dreams.
“Thanks to our armed forces, we have imparted a valuable lesson to Pakistan. Our government has granted complete operational autonomy to our armed forces, leading them to bring Pakistan to its knees,” he concluded.
