Bhopal, April 2 (NationPress) The PM Vishwakarma Yojana, inaugurated on the 77th Independence Day, is becoming a pivotal initiative for the underprivileged sectors of society, including artisans, craftsmen, and others.
In the Shahdol district of Madhya Pradesh, this scheme has made significant inroads, with numerous individuals benefiting from both financial support and skill enhancement in their traditional crafts.
A few beneficiaries from Shahdol shared their experiences through IANS, highlighting the transformative effect on their skill sets.
Bhaiya Lal Sen expressed that he has reaped the benefits from the PM Vishwakarma scheme. He learned about the initiative via newspapers and radio, proceeded to the municipality, and submitted his application. After completing a seven-day training session, he received a total of Rs 4,000 in two installments from the government.
While commending the scheme, he noted that his hair-cutting business has flourished since then, and he extends his gratitude to the government.
Govind Prajapati stated that he registered online for the scheme through the municipality and underwent a six-day training session.
The government credited Rs 4,000 to Prajapati's account, and officials informed him that he would receive a toolkit in about three months.
Another local, Jeevanlal Prajapati, discovered the scheme through online advertisements. He shared that the government provided him with Rs 6,000 after he completed the six-day training.
