In a remarkable move, the division has prioritized creating an unforgettable experience for children by launching a gaming zone at the station.
This gaming zone, the first of its kind within the North Central Railway network, is tailored to meet the entertainment requirements of both pilgrims and travelers, particularly the younger ones.
Situated near Platform 6 on the Civil Lines side of Prayagraj Junction, this cutting-edge gaming zone features premium gaming options such as a Virtual Reality (VR) cricket box, motion theatre, PC games, arcade games, jungle safari, air hockey, and various other VR experiences.
The goal of the gaming zone is to provide travelers, regardless of age, a refreshing and distinctive recreational opportunity during their travels.
Set up by Fun Space LLP, this gaming zone aims to deliver affordable entertainment, with game prices starting at just Rs 9, inspired by the recent introduction of a Rs 9 meal thali during the Maha Kumbh by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Discussing this initiative, a gaming zone representative stated, “We aimed to make this facility accessible to everyone, including children, the elderly, and travelers from diverse backgrounds. Keeping affordability in mind, we set the game prices at Rs 9. Moreover, passengers with confirmed tickets receive an additional 10 percent discount.”
