Chennai, Dec 25 (NationPress) DMDK General Secretary Premalatha Vijayakanth on Thursday categorically rejected media speculation suggesting that six Assembly seats were allocated to her party during the current BJP–AIADMK seat-sharing negotiations, labeling the claims as unfounded and misleading.
After unfurling the party flag at the DMDK headquarters in Koyambedu, Premalatha stated that no political party had formally communicated any seat-sharing arrangement to the DMDK. She emphasized that neither the AIADMK nor the BJP had made an official announcement regarding this issue and questioned why mere speculation was being treated as confirmed information.
She warned that the continuous circulation of unverified reports from social media would damage the credibility of news outlets and mislead the electorate.
