Prime Minister Modi to Launch Initial Parivartan Rally on December 29 Before Delhi Elections

New Delhi, Dec 28 (NationPress) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is gearing up to initiate its election campaign for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi set to address his inaugural Parivartan Rally on December 29 in Rohini.

According to a senior BJP official, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi will conduct his first Parivartan Rally in Delhi and signal the start of the election campaign for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections scheduled for February 2025."

The official also mentioned that another rally by the Prime Minister is planned for January 3, 2025.

"PM Modi is expected to reveal significant announcements for Delhi during the rally. His following major rally is scheduled for January 3, 2025," the official noted.

On December 29, PM Modi will lay the groundwork for a new Metro line in Rithala and will address a public gathering at Japanese Park, Rohini, as per BJP sources.

On January 3, he will inaugurate various projects in Northeast Delhi, which is the Lok Sabha constituency of BJP MP Manoj Tiwari, including the opening of the New Delhi-Saharanpur highway, and will hold a public meeting following the official program, they stated.

There is a particular emphasis on the Najafgarh and South Delhi areas, and with the Prime Minister's engagements, the party aims to connect with voters, they mentioned.

BJP MPs Kamlajeet Sehrawat, Yogendra Chandolia, and Ramvir Singh Bidhuri have been designated as the coordinators for the event on December 29.

While the Election Commission of India has yet to announce the dates for the elections of the 70-member Delhi Assembly, they are anticipated to occur in February next year.

The current Assembly term in Delhi concludes on February 23, 2025.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), led by Arvind Kejriwal, aims to secure a third consecutive term in Delhi following their electoral victories in 2015 and 2020.

The party achieved 67 seats in 2015 and 63 in 2020 within the 70-member Delhi Assembly.

On December 24, the BJP convened a strategic meeting with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) at the BJP headquarters extension office in Delhi.

The leaders deliberated on enhancing collaboration between the BJP and RSS for the election.

As per a senior BJP source, "A crucial meeting occurred between the BJP and RSS concerning the Delhi Assembly elections at the BJP headquarters in Delhi today. Arun Kumar, who is overseeing coordination for the BJP on behalf of the Sangh, reviewed the upcoming elections with BJP leaders."
