New Delhi, July 29 (NationPress) Himachal Pradesh Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday to discuss vital development projects in the state, the repercussions of natural calamities, and the advancements of the ‘Drug-Free Himachal’ campaign.
The Governor informed Prime Minister Modi about the severe destruction caused by cloudbursts and landslides in the Mandi district during the current monsoon.
He emphasized the heartbreaking loss of life and property, pointing out that numerous families have been displaced, losing both their homes and agricultural land due to these disasters.
The Prime Minister pledged that comprehensive support would be provided to the affected regions to facilitate relief and rehabilitation efforts.
