He also predicted the forfeiture of the security deposits from the opposition parties.
During a vibrant roadshow to submit the nomination papers of AAP candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu, the Chief Minister, alongside AAP leaders Manish Sisodia and Aman Arora, pledged to actively campaign for the party candidate, emphasizing the government's pro-people and development-centric strategies.
He highlighted several groundbreaking initiatives undertaken by the government, believing these will encourage voters to support the party during the bypoll. Criticizing the opposition, the Chief Minister accused them of misappropriating resources for their own political gain.
Mann pointed out that while the state grapples with issues like unemployment, brain drain, and corruption, certain leaders remain focused on illegally accumulating wealth.
These leaders have constructed their own lavish palaces and business empires at the expense of the public and the state.
The Chief Minister expressed that they have sowed discord for Punjab and its youth by hindering the state's progress and prosperity.
He stated that for personal interests, these self-serving political figures have created turmoil for the state.
CM Mann emphasized that these leaders are culpable for their crimes against the state and that history will not absolve them for betraying Punjab.
He firmly stated that anyone who has stolen even a single penny from the public will be held accountable.
CM Mann vowed to uncover all such corrupt individuals, assuring that strict legal action will follow.
He declared, "My government is committed to ensuring that any corrupt leader or official, regardless of their wealth, will face justice for their actions," he affirmed.
The Chief Minister also criticized the Congress and the Akali Dal for allegedly supporting gangsters in the state to fulfill their political ambitions.
He asserted that these gangsters did not emerge following his administration's assumption of power.
CM Mann remarked that traditional political parties are resentful of his governance because they cannot accept that a common man's son is effectively leading the state.
