The SIT, led by ADGP NRI Affairs Praveen Sinha and comprising ADGP Internal Security Shive Kumar Verma, IGP Provisioning Dr S Boopathi, and DIG Border Range Satinder Singh, is meticulously overseeing the investigation to ensure all actions are executed efficiently and responsibly.

High-ranking police officials have engaged directly with the returnees to address their concerns and guarantee them the necessary legal process. Police Commissioners (CPs) and Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) from various districts are collaborating diligently with the SIT to ensure justice prevails against these wrongdoers.

DGP Punjab Gaurav Yadav reaffirmed the Punjab Police’s resolve to combat the network of fraudulent immigration agents and safeguard vulnerable individuals from exploitation.

He stressed that the SIT is committed to holding accountable those culpable for illegal human trafficking. The Punjab Police has urged the community to stay alert and report any suspicious immigration activities to the authorities.
