Chandigarh, March 18 (NationPress) Following the incident in Amritsar, the individual who launched an attack on a YouTuber's home with a grenade-like device was injured during a police operation in Jalandhar, Punjab, on Tuesday.
According to official sources, Superintendent of Police (Rural) Gurmeet Singh conducted an inspection at the site of the encounter.

On Sunday, a grenade-like object was thrown at the home of YouTuber Rozer Sandhu in Maqsudan, Jalandhar, but thankfully, it caused no damage. A Pakistani gangster claimed responsibility for the attack.
Immediately following the incident, two videos surfaced on social media—one featuring a Pakistani gangster, Shahzad Bhatti, who stated that he targeted the YouTuber due to his alleged use of offensive language regarding the Muslim community.
The second 18-second video seems to show a man inside a vehicle, instructing someone to throw a grenade-like object.
The day before, a suspect involved in the hand grenade assault on the Thakur Dwara temple in Amritsar on the night of March 15 was killed, and a policeman sustained injuries during the exchange of gunfire.
The suspect, known as Gursiddak, alias Siddique, was shot dead, while his accomplice, Vishal, managed to escape.
Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav reported that police teams tracked the suspects to Rajasansi, located on the outskirts of Amritsar. The suspects fired upon the police, injuring Head Constable Gurpreet Singh and knocking off Inspector Amolak Singh's turban.
In self-defense, the police returned fire, injuring the assailant. He was subsequently transported to the Civil Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The other suspect remains at large, and efforts to apprehend him are ongoing, as stated by the DGP.
CCTV footage revealed the assailants arriving on a motorcycle. After a brief wait, one of them hurled a grenade before both fled the scene. Fortunately, a priest and his family residing on the upper floor of the temple were unharmed.
Criticizing the Bhagwant Mann-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government, the Shiromani Akali Dal demanded a judicial inquiry into the Amritsar incident, while BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh called for a CBI investigation to unveil the forces attempting to disrupt law and order in Punjab.
Expressing deep concern over the continuous grenade attacks in the area, Chugh stated that the AAP government, under CM Bhagwant Mann, has utterly failed to control hostile elements in the state.
