Sukhu remarked that while BJP representatives have made various remarks regarding the Rajya Sabha election, there exists no discontent among Congress officials.

He noted that in Parliament, BJP's Anurag Thakur will now contend with Congress's Anurag Sharma, who is fully equipped to provide a robust response.
The Chief Minister emphasized that by awarding a Rajya Sabha ticket to an ordinary party member, Rahul Gandhi has conveyed a distinct message indicating that, in the forthcoming Assembly elections, serious attention will be paid to grassroots workers, including those from the NSUI.
He encouraged party members to gear up for upcoming challenges, stating that the Congress administration is advancing with public welfare initiatives.
To enhance the education sector, the state government plans to establish 150 CBSE-affiliated schools throughout Himachal Pradesh, particularly in underprivileged regions. These institutions will prioritize students' comprehensive development. Additionally, Rajiv Gandhi Day-Boarding Schools are set to be launched across the state.
He further explained that the government aims to revamp the entire educational framework of the state over the next five to six years.
In an emotional address, the newly elected MP Sharma expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Sukhu for providing an opportunity he never anticipated.
He thanked the Congress leadership for this decision, stating it has sent an uplifting message to party workers nationwide and invigorated their spirits.
Sharma expressed immense pride in his Rajya Sabha election and committed to fulfilling the expectations of the state's populace.
