New Delhi, Sep 24 (NationPress) Following the Cabinet's endorsement of the Productivity Linked Bonus (PLB) for railway personnel on Wednesday, an atmosphere of joy enveloped the workforce.
Numerous employees expressed that the government’s initiative is akin to a grand Diwali gift for them and their loved ones.
Train Manager Amit Kumar remarked to IANS that the declaration has infused immense happiness among railway staff.
He emphasized that this decision not only aids the employees but also their families during this festive season.
“I extend my heartfelt thanks to Indian Railways and the Government of India for this,” he stated.
Train Manager Naresh Kumar noted that the nation is progressing swiftly and credited the government for revitalizing the railways.
He commented, “The choice to grant a 78-day bonus is highly praiseworthy. The rise in the number of Vande Bharat trains nationwide reflects our progress. We are delighted that the central government has bestowed such a substantial gift ahead of Diwali.”
Counselor and Train Manager Om Prakash Shukla shared that while railway employees usually receive bonuses annually, the pandemic had placed a burden on them.
“This announcement has amplified our happiness. It will also enhance our festive shopping, allowing us to purchase new items for our homes. We are grateful to the government,” he expressed.
Rajesh Kumar, who is set to retire, welcomed the announcement. “With this bonus, I plan to take my children on a trip. We are extremely happy and excited,” he shared.
Station Master Ankita Yadav in New Delhi stated, “We appreciate the government for making such a decision. This bonus feels like a festival gift to us.”
Station Superintendent Narendra Kumar Rawat also conveyed his happiness regarding the decision. “The announcement of 78 days’ wages as a bonus brings me great joy.
