Jaipur, Sep 3 (NationPress) The government of Rajasthan has made a significant move to bolster the agricultural sector and uplift farmers by sanctioning development projects totaling Rs 43 crore 87 lakh for 12 Krishi Upaj Mandi Samitis across the state.

As per the Chief Minister’s Public Relations Cell, this funding will be allocated for the enhancement of infrastructure and facilities in the mandis situated at Sojat City, Chohtan, Didwana, Jaitaran, Badi Sadri, Dag, Ajmer (fruit & vegetable), Balotra, Keshoraipatan, Hindaun City, Bhagat Ki Kothi, and Ajmer (grain).

The implementation of these projects will occur over the next three years through the Mandi Vikas Nidhi.

Additionally, the Chief Minister has approved Rs 25 crore 95 lakh for developmental initiatives in Jhalrapatan, Jalore, Sikar, Bikaner (grain), Jaipur (grain), Muhana, Jaipur (fruit and vegetable), Pugal Road (grain), Bikaner, and Madanganj-Kishangarh (Ajmer) mandis samitis.
