Jaipur, Feb 26 (NationPress) The Rajasthan BJP leader Madan Rathore visited the Shri Bhuteshwar Mahadev Temple in Vidyadhar Nagar on Wednesday to offer his prayers to Lord Shiva in honor of the auspicious festival of Mahashivratri.
He expressed his wishes for the happiness and prosperity of the people of Rajasthan and urged everyone to draw inspiration from the family of Mahadev, where harmony flourishes despite differences, symbolized by the rat, snake, and peacock living together.
He stated, "Mahadev’s family imparts lessons on the values of coexistence and social harmony."
Rathore expressed appreciation for Prime Minister Narendra Modi for fostering faith during the Maha Kumbh, commenting, "PM Modi’s devotion has cultivated belief even among Congress members."
He referred to the Triveni Sangam as a representation of India’s vibrant cultural and religious legacy. Rathore emphasized the cohesive teamwork within the BJP and outlined a plan for inclusivity within the party.
"Every member will be given a chance to contribute according to their skills. The BJP's vision mandates that each task has a dedicated worker, ensuring everyone is involved in significant work," he asserted.
Rathore reaffirmed that the party is unified and well-structured without any internal rifts.
Targeting the Congress, Rathore accused them of undermining democratic principles by causing a standstill in the House.
He criticized the controversial statements made by Congress leader Govind Singh Dotasra, asserting, "Such language is inappropriate in a democracy."
Rathore claimed that the Congress is making unfounded accusations to distract from its internal strife, misleading the people of Rajasthan.
He added that acknowledging mistakes and offering apologies when warranted does not lessen one’s dignity.
"Congress should apologize in the House to maintain decorum in democracy," he urged.
Stressing the importance of preserving the dignity of the legislature, he remarked, "It is our constitutional duty to protect the sanctity of the House."
Rathore reassured the citizens that the BJP is dedicated to serving them and advancing the state’s development while upholding democratic principles.
He also urged the opposition to assume a constructive role in boosting Rajasthan’s growth.
A political impasse currently exists in the Rajasthan House as Congress has boycotted proceedings due to the suspension of six MLAs after a BJP minister referred to former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi as ‘Dadi’.
