This initiative is aimed at preserving and promoting the rich heritage linked to these areas.
In response to the escalating traffic issues in Jaipur, the Chief Minister also revealed plans for a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for a 36-kilometre elevated road along the Dravyavati River. This project is anticipated to significantly alleviate traffic congestion in the state capital and enhance urban mobility.
In a significant boost to public transport, Sharma announced the procurement of 300 new buses for the Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC). This addition is expected to bolster connectivity between rural and urban regions while enhancing passenger comfort and accessibility.
The state government is focused on modernizing and expanding transportation services. Furthermore, the Chief Minister revealed plans to fill 1.25 lakh new government positions, with a new recruitment calendar to be announced soon.
Under the VB-G-RAM-G employment scheme, workers will now receive wages weekly, and the employment duration will extend from 100 to 125 days. Additionally, compensation will be provided for delays in wage payments. This scheme is projected to incur an expenditure of Rs 4,000 crore from the state treasury, with potential for further funding based on demand.
The establishment of a substantial Skill Development Centre in Pachpadra is planned to bolster employment opportunities for local youth. This centre will focus on offering industry-relevant training tailored to the upcoming industrial projects in the Pachpadra and Barmer regions, particularly in the fields of petrochemicals, refining, and allied industries.
The initiative aims to equip local youth with modern technical skills, enhancing their employability and involvement in regional industrial development. The Chief Minister emphasized the urgent requirement for structured skill training facilities due to rapid industrial growth in the Pachpadra area, driven by investments in the refinery and energy sectors.
The Skill Development Centre is set to address this need by providing certified courses, hands-on training modules, and collaborations with various industries.
