Jaipur, March 16 (NationPress) As part of the Rajasthan Diwas festivities, the state administration will celebrate ‘Rajasthan Yuva Shakti Diwas’ on Tuesday, where Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma is anticipated to inaugurate development initiatives valued at Rs 485 crore aimed at youth empowerment.

This initiative aligns with the government’s vision of realizing the Viksit Rajasthan–2047 objective.

The event is scheduled to take place at Tagore Public School in Mansarovar, where 9,432 youths who have completed training in various fields, including artificial intelligence and web design, will receive certificates for their skill enhancement.

These training sessions were facilitated by state institutions like the Rajasthan Centre of Advanced Technology (RCAT), Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited (RKCL), and the Rajasthan Skill and Livelihoods Development Corporation (RSLDC).

During the ceremony, Viability Gap Funding amounting to Rs 11.45 crore will also be allocated to 403 startups to foster innovation and entrepreneurship among the youth.

Moreover, a cheque will be presented to the first recipient of the ‘Chief Minister Yuva Swarozgar Yojana’, which promotes self-employment among young individuals.

A short film named “Yuvaon Ka Utthan” (Upliftment of Youth), showcasing the Rajasthan government’s efforts towards youth empowerment, will be screened during the event.

In addition, the Rajasthan Department of Tourism is set to host a series of cultural and heritage events across Jaipur from March 17 to 19 as part of the Rajasthan Diwas celebrations.

Tourism Commissioner Rukmani Riar mentioned that numerous events celebrating the state’s art, culture, and traditions will take place at various tourist and religious locations throughout the city.

The vibrant folk culture of Rajasthan, including its rich heritage and folk arts, will be the focal point of these events, providing both residents and visitors an opportunity to immerse themselves in the local culture.

She also announced a special aarti ceremony planned at Brij Nidhi Temple on March 17 at 7:30 a.m.

Later that day at 7 p.m., the National School of Drama (NSD) will present the play “Samudra Manthan” at the central courtyard of Jawahar Kala Kendra, directed by Chittaranjan Tripathi.

In partnership with Hunter Hikers, nature hikes will also be organized on March 17 and 18, starting at 6:45 a.m. each day.

On March 17, the hike will traverse from Garh Ganesh Temple to Gaitore Ki Chhatriyan, covering a distance of about six kilometers.

On March 18, participants will hike from Khedi Gate to Sagar Lake in Amer, also spanning around six kilometers.

Additionally, in collaboration with the Jaipur Heritage Foundation, a heritage walk will be organized on March 18 at 7 a.m., commencing at Chaturbhuj Ji Temple and proceeding towards Gem Cinema.

Riar further stated that a magnificent cultural evening will be held at Albert Hall Museum to mark Rajasthan Day, which will be celebrated this year on Chaitra Shukla Pratipada (March 19).

The event will showcase performances by renowned folk artists such as Padma Shri awardee Anwar Khan Manganiyar and Tagaram Bhil with their respective troupes.

Local artists, Kathak dance performances, and specially choreographed cultural displays will also feature in the programme.

The evening will culminate in a spectacular fireworks display attended by distinguished guests.
