Jaipur, Feb 15 (NationPress) The Rajcop Citizen App, created by Rajasthan Police to improve public safety, has achieved remarkable popularity. In an unprecedented milestone, more than 21,000 users downloaded the app within a single day.
The State Crime Record Bureau IG, Sharat Kaviraj, pointed out that the app received considerable attention after an episode on February 12 in Triveni Nagar, Jaipur, where a young man was involved in the public harassment of a coaching student.
The victim utilized the app's "Help Chahiye" feature to issue an emergency alert, leading the police to arrive at the location in less than three minutes and detain the suspect.
IG Kaviraj stressed that the app encompasses a variety of user-centric features aimed at supporting the public, especially women.
The information gathered through user complaints will be evaluated to improve crime prevention methods.

Additionally, users can dispatch alerts alongside their location to the control room, ensuring swift police action during emergencies.
