Key Takeaways
Ayodhya, March 13 (NationPress) The Ram Rasoi in Ayodhya is thriving despite swirling rumors of its potential closure. Many devotees are actively enjoying the free food, or 'prasad', offered at the Ram Rasoi, countering the negativity on social media.
A devotee from Delhi shared her experience while savoring her meal: "With the blessings of Lord Ram, we are fortunate to enjoy 'prasad' here. It's truly delightful. After we performed 'darshan' at Hanumangarhi and Lord Ram's shrine, we were given the opportunity to indulge in this 'prasad' at the sacred site. It's an incredible feeling."
When asked about the complimentary nature of the food, she remarked, "Indeed, this 'prasad' is free of charge; we didn't spend a penny."
Another devotee from Ambedkar Nagar expressed, "Dining at the Ram Rasoi has been a wonderful experience. The food is excellent and comes at no cost. We have faced no issues here whatsoever."
In light of the ongoing crisis concerning LPG cylinders due to tensions in West Asia, there have been persistent whispers online suggesting that the 'rasoi' might be closing down.
Nevertheless, the Ram Rasoi continues to serve meals to those who visit.
In related news, President Droupadi Murmu is set to arrive in Ayodhya on March 19 to engage in a series of religious ceremonies at the Ram Mandir, as part of the special festivities celebrating the Hindu New Year.
During her visit, President Murmu will inaugurate the Shri Ram Yantra and Shri Ram Naam temple on the upper level of the temple complex, and participate in Vedic prayers scheduled to commence around 9 A.M. The rituals will be conducted by 51 Vedic scholars from southern India, Kashi, and Ayodhya, under the direction of priest Ganeshwar Shastri.
Additionally, the President will honor nearly 400 workers who played a vital role in constructing the temple and will hoist a flag at one of the temples situated along the outer perimeter, known as the parkota.
