Ayodhya, March 19 (NationPress) Esteemed Hindu leaders and temple priests in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, celebrated the installation of the 'Shri Ram Yantra' at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple, marking it as a historic and spiritually significant event. They remarked that the ceremony exemplified the profound faith and centuries-old devotion of the followers of Ram.
Earlier on Thursday, President Droupadi Murmu visited the temple and participated in a special religious ceremony to install a 150-kg gold-plated 'Shri Ram Yantra'. She also engaged in prayer and performed the aarti at the Ram temple.
In response to this momentous event, Jagatguru Karpatri Maharaj expressed that it represented a significant spiritual milestone and commended the speeches made during the ceremony.
"It was truly uplifting. The President's address was impressive, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also delivered an excellent speech. This feels like the dawn of 'Ram Rajya'," he shared with IANS.
He emphasized that witnessing the sacred Yantra was a remarkable fortune for the devotees.
“We were privileged to see the very Ram Yantra on this auspicious occasion,” Jagatguru Karpatri Maharaj remarked.
Mahant Raju Das, the priest at Hanuman Garhi temple, stated that the installation represented the fruition of centuries of devotion and sacrifice from Ram's followers.
“Today, we installed the Shri Ram Yantra. After 500 years of dedication and the sacrifices of countless Ram devotees, we now have this grand temple,” he added.
