Ramdas Athawale States RPI's Main Aim is to Elevate BJP's Status in Delhi Elections

New Delhi, Jan 11 (NationPress) The Republican Party of India (RPI), led by Ramdas Athawale, has made a significant entry into the upcoming Delhi elections by unveiling a list of 15 candidates on Saturday. These candidates will face off against competitors, especially from the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Congress.

In an interview with IANS regarding his involvement in Delhi politics, Ramdas Athawale emphasized his party's unwavering support for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), their principal ally in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), stating that their utmost aim is to ensure BJP's triumph in the upcoming elections.

He stated, "The Republican Party of India is a recognized political entity and a collaborator within the NDA. While we completely back the BJP, we have opted to contest 15 seats in Delhi. Our candidates will represent a diverse range of communities, including Dalits, Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, and Brahmins. Nevertheless, our primary focus is to safeguard the BJP's electoral prospects. Our principal aim is to ensure BJP's ascendance to power in Delhi."

Athawale further commented, "With PM Modi's guidance, the nation is advancing at an extraordinary pace. The development of Delhi is also intertwined with his vision. It is imperative for the people of Delhi to cast their votes for BJP and dismiss the Kejriwal administration."

Athawale charged Arvind Kejriwal with failing to fulfill his commitments and engaging in extensive corruption.

Referring to a recent report from the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG), he remarked, "The CAG report has unveiled significant corruption within the AAP government. Kejriwal rose to power vowing to combat corruption but ultimately ended up protecting his corrupt ministers. The report distinctly highlights irregularities, serving as proof that the AAP government has let down the citizens of Delhi."

Athawale continued, "Kejriwal's public persona and his actual conduct are starkly different. He has even faced imprisonment. I urge the people of Delhi to see through his facade and remove him from power. He is a corrupt leader, and the city warrants superior governance."

In conclusion, Athawale appealed to Delhi residents, "Elect BJP to govern Delhi; only then will the national capital experience genuine development under PM Modi's leadership."
