In Gandhinagar, the Romanian mayor met with M. Thennarasan, Principal Secretary of the Urban Development and Urban Housing Department, and Remya Mohan, Commissioner of Municipalities and Additional Chief Executive Officer of the Gujarat Urban Development Mission.
He received updates on the state government’s urban development strategy and major infrastructure projects, including the Mumbai–Ahmedabad bullet train, Dholera Highway, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Sports Complex, and Dream City in Surat.
During his visit, Carare explored GIFT City to evaluate its financial and technological infrastructure as well as its regulatory framework.
