Sanjay Jha Critiques Tejashwi Yadav's Remarks on Nitish Kumar's Mahila Samvad Yatra

Patna, Dec 5 (NationPress) Rajya Sabha MP and JD-U leader Sanjay Jha on Thursday criticized Bihar Leader of the Opposition (LoP) Tejashwi Yadav for calling into question Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's Mahila Samvad Yatra.

Tejashwi Yadav has claimed that the Rs 250 crore earmarked for the yatra represents a misuse of public funds.

Sanjay Jha contended that Nitish Kumar's yatras have historically been instrumental in addressing grassroots issues and advancing state initiatives.

He underscored the Chief Minister’s dedication, noting his readiness to operate under extreme weather and spend time in villages to connect directly with the populace.

“Regardless of whether it is 4 degrees or 44 degrees, Nitish Kumar remains steadfast in his commitment to serve the people of Bihar through these yatras. He possesses an impressive record, and the forthcoming yatra will mark his 15th,” Jha stated.

Jha emphasized Kumar's transformative influence on Bihar since 2005, contrasting it with the alleged governance failures during Lalu Prasad Yadav's administration.

“Tejashwi Yadav's critique arises from political rivalry rather than genuine public concern,” Jha asserted.

Jha dismissed claims of financial misconduct in the yatra, framing it as an essential governance strategy.

He noted that no other Chief Minister has made similar efforts to remain in touch with grassroots realities.
