Key Takeaways
Gwalior, April 3 (NationPress) Union Minister for Communications Jyotiraditya Scindia participated in a public hearing on Friday in the Mungaoli Assembly area of Ashoknagar district, which is part of his parliamentary constituency, Guna. During this event, he engaged with numerous complainants to address their issues.
Scindia dedicated over three hours to listen attentively to the concerns of local residents, representing various demographics, including women, seniors, youth, and farmers.
A total of 1,048 applications were submitted by residents from across the district.
According to a press statement from Scindia's public relations team, 238 complaints were resolved immediately by the officials present, while the remaining 810 applications were directed to the relevant government departments for timely resolution.
During the session, Scindia emphasized the importance of treating each application with utmost seriousness, ensuring resolutions are achieved within a specified timeframe.
“Every grievance recorded during the public hearing was logged using a token-based system to maintain a secure record of the issues raised by applicants,” the statement added.
Additionally, an online tracking system has been established for pending cases, enabling regular updates on the status of each application.
Scindia advised that if any case proves challenging to resolve, the reasons should be communicated clearly, and any issues requiring attention at the Central or state levels should be appropriately escalated.
Last year, Union Minister Scindia initiated a series of public hearings by Assembly across his Guna Lok Sabha constituency, which is currently in its second phase.
He reiterated his commitment to ensuring that every citizen's grievance is acknowledged and addressed, affirming that benefits from governmental schemes reach those who need them most.
Scindia expressed confidence that these regular public hearings would not only help resolve issues but also enhance the trust and communication between the governmental administration and the public.
