Mumbai, April 25 (NationPress) Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC on Friday expressed robust support for Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat's recent comments regarding the Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), asserting that his remarks were not only correct but also aligned with the nation's sentiments.

Speaking to IANS, Shaina NC stated, “He did not make any incorrect statement. He simply voiced what many Indians believe — that terrorists are targeting Hindus as soft targets to destabilize India. The core issue is not whether it’s Hindu or Muslim, saffron terror or Islamic terror. The real issue is terrorism itself and its objective to weaken India. If they believe they can kill Hindus and escape unscathed, then Modi ji and our government will certainly give a strong response.

Her statements come in the wake of Bhagwat's remarks at a Mumbai event, where he mentioned that terrorists killed innocent civilians after interrogating them about their religion, adding that a Hindu would never engage in such actions.

Shaina NC further stressed that India's reaction to Pakistan-supported terrorism would be both swift and substantial.

“You might soon witness the expulsion of Pakistani military advisors, a reduction in diplomatic personnel, the closure of the Attari-Wagah border, or even travel restrictions on Pakistani citizens. These steps are preliminary. What truly matters is what Prime Minister Modi clearly articulated in the All Party Meeting — that India will respond vigorously because Pakistan continues to harbor and support terrorists,” she remarked.

Additionally, she backed Bhagwat's appeal for national unity in the face of terrorism.

“He is absolutely right — united we stand, divided we fall. India is home to people of various religions, and they coexist harmoniously. However, unity is vital, as these terrorists possess no religion or ideology. Their sole aim is to destabilize India. If they think they can replicate what they attempted in Pulwama in Pahalgam, they are mistaken. The Prime Minister will respond decisively,” she told IANS.

Reacting to PM Modi’s recent comments in Bihar, where he vowed to pursue terrorists to the “ends of the Earth,” Shaina NC said, “The Prime Minister made it unmistakably clear — India is neither a soft state nor a target. We may not disclose every strategy, but you can be assured that actions will be taken. Our leader, Eknath Shinde, personally supervised the safe return of stranded Maharashtrian nationals from Srinagar — 64 in the first flight, 184 in the second, and now all have returned safely. This reflects the commitment of our leadership to ensure every Indian's safety.”

She also commented on recent developments involving Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. The Supreme Court, while staying a trial court summons in a defamation case, issued a stern warning to the Leader of the Opposition (LoP) in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, regarding his controversial statements about freedom fighter V.D. Savarkar.

In her comments, Shaina NC asserted, “Rahul Gandhi continues to make thoughtless remarks — sometimes targeting the Election Commission of India, sometimes against Savarkar, often while overseas. I perceive him as an entitled individual lacking the maturity to grasp the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters. If he persists with this demeanor, he will soon find himself in serious trouble. The citizens of India desire progressive politics, politics based on trust — not baseless, immature allegations.”
