Jammu, Jan 23 (NationPress) Senior BJP leader and Leader of Opposition (LoP) in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) Assembly, Sunil Sharma on Thursday asserted that former chief minister, Dr Farooq Abdullah poses no threat to the nation, but is indeed a danger to the citizens of J&K.

In response to Dr Farooq Abdullah’s remarks from Wednesday, where he claimed that India has adversaries within its borders, Sunil Sharma clarified on Thursday, “I want to emphasize to Dr Farooq Abdullah that under the remarkable leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the country is in secure hands and faces no internal or external dangers.

“Our adversaries are fully aware of their current position and will not dare to act.”

“Internally, it is individuals like you who threaten the country’s fabric, deceiving the populace, and presenting varied narratives depending on their audience.”

“If politicians like Dr Farooq cease their deception and unify their statements in Delhi, Jammu, and Kashmir, perhaps we, the residents of J&K, can coexist in peace, harmony, and prosperity.

“I humbly urge you to reflect on your statements from before the elections compared to your current assertions. From politics to governance, it’s all lies, lies, and lies.”

“Respectfully, you are too insignificant to be a threat to the nation, but you pose a danger to the people of J&K.

“You threaten their joy, their right to live peacefully, and their aspirations for a prosperous life,” Sharma asserted.

Speaking to reporters at a party event here on Wednesday, Dr Farooq Abdullah had accused the BJP of reversing the progress of the country by supposedly raising trivial issues for political gain.
