Bengaluru, March 21 (NationPress) Karnataka's Chief Minister Siddaramaiah shared his warm greetings with the Muslim community throughout the state and nation, celebrating the sacred occasion of Ramzan. He highlighted the significance of praying for the welfare of humanity.

His remarks came following his participation in a collective prayer event held in Bengaluru on Saturday.

In his address, the Chief Minister emphasized the necessity of praying for human well-being and encouraged people to foster a spirit of love, trust, and humanity among each other. He remarked that India, with its rich tapestry of cultures and communities, should strive for unity.

Thus, it is imperative for us to live in harmony,” he asserted.

“On this occasion, I want to stress the importance of cultivating an environment filled with mutual respect and love. I extend Eid Mubarak greetings to all my Muslim brothers and sisters nationwide. Warm festive wishes to all. I convey my respects to everyone,” he added.

In a message on social media platform X, Deputy Chief Minister and State Congress President D.K. Shivakumar remarked, "May this Eid bring joy and prosperity. Eid Mubarak!"

Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel, H.D. Kumarswamy, extended his greetings to the Muslim community, saying, "Warm wishes to all Muslim brothers and sisters on Ramzan. May this period, emblematic of peace and harmony, usher in happiness and prosperity for everyone and fill every home with joy."

Former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda also shared his greetings, stating, "Warm greetings to all my Muslim brothers and sisters on the holy occasion of Ramzan. This festival, symbolizing fasting, prayer, and coexistence, has the potential to strengthen societal unity. I pray it brings peace, prosperity, and harmony into all lives."
