New Delhi, Nov 24 (NationPress) The Election Commission of India (ECI) has indicated notable advancements in Phase II of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2025, achieving a remarkable 99.07% distribution rate of Enumeration Forms (EFs) across 12 states and Union Territories.
According to the Daily Bulletin released at 3 p.m. on Monday, the nationwide distribution of EFs has reached 99.07%, showcasing vigorous field mobilization by Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and active involvement from Booth Level Agents (BLAs).
During this ongoing enumeration phase, which commenced on November 4 and will conclude on December 4, a total of 50.50 crore EFs have been distributed from an eligible 50.97 crore electors.
However, the digitization process is trailing behind distribution, with only 24.13 crore forms digitized to date, leading to a digitization rate of 47.35%.
Goa and Lakshadweep have achieved a flawless 100% distribution of EFs, closely followed by the Andaman and Nicobar Islands at 99.98%, Madhya Pradesh at 99.83%, West Bengal at 99.75%, and Gujarat at 99.69%.
Uttar Pradesh, the largest state in terms of electorate size, has successfully attained 99.62% distribution, encompassing over 15.38 crore electors.
In contrast, Puducherry at 95.58%, Tamil Nadu at 96.22%, and Kerala at 97.23% reported the lowest distribution rates.
When it comes to digitization, Lakshadweep is leading at 96.81%, followed by Goa at 76.89%, and Rajasthan at 72.20%.
Kerala has the lowest digitization progress at just 23.72%, with Uttar Pradesh following at 26.60%.
The Election Commission has urged recognized political parties to appoint additional Booth Level Agents to expedite the verification and digitization processes.
The ECI's press note stated that the figures from Rajasthan do not include the Anta Assembly constituency, where the revision has been postponed due to a by-election.
The ECI is set to continue releasing scheduled bulletins as the revision process progresses toward the December 4 deadline.
