Patna, Jan 17 (NationPress) In an unexpected and notable move, Nishant Kumar, the son of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, called upon the citizens of the state to back his father and his party, the Janata Dal-United, in the upcoming 2025 Assembly elections.
Despite his traditionally low profile in politics, Nishant expressed his views and sought public backing for the Chief Minister during the commemoration of his grandfather and freedom fighter Ram Lakhan Singh Vaidya at Bakhtiyarpur in the Patna district on Friday.
Nishant highlighted the advancements Bihar has made under his father's governance, stating: “I urge the people of Bihar, if possible, to vote for my father and his party and restore them to power. My father is doing remarkable work in Bihar.”
