Patna, Feb 12 (NationPress) Tej Pratap Yadav, the National President of Jan Shakti Janata Dal, responded sharply to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's recent comment regarding 'ladki wale'. He asserted that Kumar's intellectual capabilities have completely diminished and that he is no longer deserving of the esteemed position he holds.
In an interview with IANS in Patna, Tej Pratap Yadav remarked that individuals reveal their true selves through their words and deeds. “What he (Nitish Kumar) articulates and his actions are under scrutiny by all. The Chief Minister has become a target of mockery. People nationwide are observing,” he stated, alluding to the forthcoming elections in various states, emphasizing that his party is preparing to participate.
Addressing the absence of Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav during the Budget Session, he explained that his brother was unwell. “Injuries require time to heal. A person cannot be present if they are not well,” he explained.
Concerning Mahashivratri, Tej Pratap expressed his devotion to Lord Shiva, saying, “The blessings of Mahadev are with us. We persist in our prayers. Shivratri is nearing, and we will engage in prayers. Har Har Mahadev,” he stated.
On the government’s directives regarding ‘Vande Mataram’, he emphasized that just as individuals stand for the Tricolour and the national anthem, ‘Vande Mataram’ deserves similar respect. “Vande Mataram and Bharat Mata ki Jai must be upheld,” he asserted.
Regarding West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s comments on SIR and UGC, he stated it was her concern and chose not to comment further.
On Purnea MP Pappu Yadav’s arrest, Tej Pratap alleged a conspiracy, stating that conspiracies are a common occurrence. He also called upon the government to address a bomb threat towards the Patna Civil Court.
