Tejashwi Appeals to Nitish for Corrections in BPSC Examination Issues

Patna, Dec 5 (NationPress) The Leader of Opposition (LoP) and ex-Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav, has voiced strong concerns regarding the complications surrounding the 70th Combined Preliminary Examination of the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). In a correspondence to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, he emphasized the difficulties encountered by candidates due to technical malfunctions and purported administrative failures.
“Numerous candidates found themselves unable to complete their application forms owing to server crashes in the crucial final days leading up to the deadline. This posed a major setback for diligent aspirants. We demand prompt corrective measures,” stated Yadav.
Tejashwi Yadav also condemned the unclear implementation of the normalisation process for the examination.
He labeled it as controversial and unjust, asserting that the question difficulty varies according to the candidate’s preparation, and that normalisation creates an artificial benchmark.
Candidates have yet to receive comprehensive details regarding the examination system.
He proposed that the exam should be conducted on a single day, in one shift, with one paper and one format, ensuring equity and preventing paper leaks.
“To resolve the issues faced by candidates due to server breakdowns, I have urged authorities for a five-day extension on the application deadline, clarity regarding the examination process, the dismissal of the normalisation approach, a transparent and fair examination conducted in one shift, eliminating any chances for malpractice, and proactive measures to thwart any paper leak incidents,” LoP Yadav stated on Thursday.
LoP Yadav indicated that should the Bihar government neglect to address the candidates' concerns, he and his party would stand in solidarity with the protesters and fight alongside them.
He accused the NDA government of mismanaging the aspirations and futures of Bihar's youth and called upon them to act responsibly.
Tejashwi Yadav's strong position has intensified pressure on the Bihar government and the BPSC to promptly resolve the candidates' issues.
His engagement signifies a notable escalation in the matter, resonating with the hopes of students and their families who demand fairness and transparency in the examination process.
