Patna, Feb 9 (NationPress) Bihar Leader of the Opposition (LoP) Tejashwi Yadav on Sunday criticized Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, branding him a political betrayer who abandoned the Grand Alliance (Mahagathbandhan) by rejoining the BJP-led NDA.

Speaking at a Teli community rally at Patna’s Millar School Ground, Tejashwi emphasized that Nitish Kumar would never be accepted back into the RJD-led coalition.

"Nitish Kumar became the Chief Minister twice with RJD’s backing, but he stabbed us in the back and allied with the BJP. There is absolutely no chance of his return to the Grand Alliance," Tejashwi stated emphatically.

In a strong rejection of the BJP, Tejashwi asserted that he and the RJD would never partner with the BJP.

"I would rather die than join forces with the BJP in my entire life," he declared, eliciting cheers from the audience.

He accused Nitish Kumar of hypocrisy, reminding everyone that when JD-U was part of the Grand Alliance, the Chief Minister frequently criticized the BJP for undermining his party.

"Now, Nitish Kumar is governing alongside the same BJP he once decried for destroying his party," he remarked.

With the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 approaching, Tejashwi urged the public to give RJD a chance to lead the state.

"If we err, hold us accountable. But if you allow me five years, I promise to achieve more for Bihar than the NDA has in the last two decades," he pledged.

Tejashwi derided Nitish Kumar’s ongoing Pragati Yatra, dubbing it a 'Durgati Yatra' (a journey of decline). He accused the CM of squandering crores from the state treasury on this tour.

"Nitish Kumar is being led by officials, not by the desires of the public. He has lost his awareness and merely follows bureaucratic directives," Tejashwi alleged.

He further claimed that the actual authority in Bihar lies with a 'Super CM,' referred to as ‘DK Boss,’ though he did not disclose the identity of this individual.

During the event, Tejashwi Yadav was honored with a crown, symbolizing the backing of the Teli community. The organizers expressed unwavering confidence in his leadership, urging the populace to rally behind him for the progress of Bihar.

As the election season intensifies, Tejashwi Yadav is positioning himself as the most formidable alternative to the NDA government while vigorously campaigning against Nitish Kumar and the BJP.
