Hyderabad, February 26 (NationPress) In a significant move, the Telangana government has established a Cabinet Sub-Committee tasked with crafting and presenting a 99-day action plan aimed at enhancing implementation across multiple state departments.
This Sub-Committee will be led by the Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Finance & Planning, Energy, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka.
Other notable members include N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, the Minister for Irrigation & Command Area Development, and Duddilla Sridhar Babu, the Minister for Information Technology, Electronics & Communications, and Industries & Commerce. Additionally, Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, serving as Minister for Revenue, Housing, and Information & Public Relations, is also part of this committee.
The Chief Secretary, K. Ramakrishna Rao, has issued a Government Order (GO) regarding this initiative.
The Principal Secretary of Planning will act as the convenor for the Sub-Committee, while Principal Secretaries, Special Chief Secretaries, and Secretaries from relevant departments will participate in the committee meetings.
The action plan is designed to accelerate welfare and development initiatives throughout the state.
During a review session, Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao emphasized that each department must operate with speed, clarity, and measurable outcomes.
He instructed the Secretariat, along with Special Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, and Secretaries, to formulate detailed, time-sensitive action plans.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is scheduled to lead a review meeting with the Secretaries on February 28, followed by a conference for District Collectors on March 1. The action plan is set to be executed from March 2 through June 9.
The Chief Secretary urged all departments to promptly submit structured action plans, ensuring that agenda notes for the Collectors’ Conference are prepared without delay.
Moreover, he directed that all completed government buildings should be kept ready for inauguration, and development projects should transition from paperwork to actual implementation.
Priority departments include Rural Development, Municipal Administration, Health, Education, Panchayati Raj, Agriculture, Revenue, Tourism, Industries, Women & Child Welfare, Housing, Power, Labour, among others. Special attention will be given to initiatives such as sanitation drives, rural infrastructure, health outreach, and welfare delivery.
