The Disbandment of the INDIA Bloc: Gourav Vallabh's Perspective

New Delhi, January 10 (NationPress) - BJP leader Gourav Vallabh remarked on Friday that the INDIA bloc represents an unnatural coalition devoid of a unified ideology and agenda, asserting that its dissolution was foreseeable.

In response to Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah's proposal to disband the INDIA bloc, Vallabh stated to IANS: "This coalition comprises individuals currently out on bail and has faced rejection from the electorate. Thus, the decision to dissolve this alliance aligns with expectations."

He further noted that regional parties in the coalition have sidelined a national party, which speaks volumes about the internal dynamics of the alliance.

“The INDIA bloc has never possessed a mandate, shared philosophy, or mutual understanding; they only united due to their collective animosity towards PM Narendra Modi,” he added, emphasizing that the decline of the Congress party contributes to regional factions distancing themselves from it.

“He remarked that the mistreatment of Congress by regional parties correlates with the fact that individuals who have never contested elections are issuing statements on its behalf,” Vallabh criticized, dismissing Congress leader Pawan Khera's claim that the INDIA bloc was solely designed to participate in Lok Sabha elections.

Condemning Arvind Kejriwal for alleging voter list manipulation by the BJP in the New Delhi Assembly constituency, Vallabh stated that such accusations are unfounded.

"I can assure you that Kejriwal is destined to lose the Assembly election in the New Delhi constituency. This is likely why he resorts to such outrageous allegations,” he asserted.

According to Vallabh, Kejriwal is also scouting for a more secure seat, particularly one with a significant population from a specific community, as he is convinced of his impending loss in New Delhi.

He also criticized Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge for labeling the GST as “Grihasti Satyanash Tax.”

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has provided the nation with the Good and Simple Tax. The Congress party previously attempted to introduce this tax without success. The GST Council is consistently refining tax regulations,” he stated.

Vallabh pointed out that finance ministers from Congress-led states are also part of the GST Council and concur with the tax provisions and their refinements.

“While the Congress president makes one statement, the party’s finance ministers express a different view in the GST Council. It seems the party needs to reflect and establish a cohesive stance on a tax that has been embraced by the populace as a ‘good and simple tax’,” he concluded.
