Tragic Bus Collision near Jaipur Claims Teacher's Life and Injures 10 Others

Jaipur, Dec 27 (NationPress) A tragic incident occurred on Friday when a teacher from a coaching center lost his life, and 10 others were injured, including the bus driver, after a bus filled with coaching students collided with an under-construction culvert due to brake failure.
This unfortunate accident resulted in the death of a teacher and injuries to 10 individuals, comprising the driver and several students. One student remains in critical condition and is currently receiving treatment at a hospital.
The crash happened at 9:30 a.m. near Bhojlawa cut on National Highway 52 in Chomu, Jaipur, Rajasthan. The bus was transporting 30 students when the incident occurred.
As per SDM Dilip Singh Rathore, the bus, operated by Saransh Coaching Institute, was en route from Etawah to Chomu when the brakes failed near the Bhojlawa Cut.
"The driver lost control, leading to the vehicle crashing into the culvert. The deceased, identified as 39-year-old Anandi Lal Sharma, succumbed to his injuries at the scene," he stated.
Chomu Police Station in-charge Pradeep Sharma reported that a crowd gathered following the accident, and police responded swiftly.
"With help from local residents, the injured were taken to Barala Hospital in Chomu for medical care. The hospital confirmed the teacher’s demise after examination. Eight injured students and the driver were released after receiving initial treatment, while the critically injured student remains hospitalized," he informed.
The bus was on its way to the coaching institute, which specializes in NEET medical entrance exam preparation.
After undergoing a postmortem, the teacher's body was returned to his family members. Anandi Lal Sharma is survived by his two sons -- Aman Sharma, who is pursuing a paramedical course, and Monu Sharma, a medical student in Haryana.
Sunilal Kumawat, the director of Saransh Coaching Institute, has pledged financial support of Rs 21 lakh for the teacher’s family. The community and the institute are mourning the tragic loss of Anandi Lal Sharma.
