Unidentified Assailants on Motorbike Shoot Property Dealer in Buxar, Bihar

Patna, Dec 19 (NationPress) A property dealer was reportedly shot and killed by unidentified assailants riding a motorcycle in Buxar district, Bihar on Wednesday evening, police reported.
The shooting took place around 6:30 p.m. close to Kamaldah Pond on Station Road, which created a sense of fear in the vicinity.
The victim, identified as Hriday Narayan Yadav, who lived in Musafir Ganj within the city's police jurisdiction, was allegedly heading towards the city when he was attacked.
According to eyewitnesses, the perpetrators fled the scene on a motorcycle immediately following the shooting.
Upon hearing the news, the victim's family rushed to the location, visibly shaken by the tragic event.
The wails of the family have reverberated throughout the local community.
Manoj Kumar Singh, the SHO of the City police station, confirmed that a thorough investigation is underway.
"We are conducting raids to apprehend the suspects. We are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the area to identify them. They will be captured shortly," he stated.
Yadav, who worked as a property dealer, was reportedly on his usual route when the attack took place.
The police are investigating various angles to uncover the motives and circumstances surrounding the attack.
The assault occurred just as Yadav parked his motorcycle near the pond.
Eyewitness accounts indicated that the assailants, who had their faces concealed with mufflers, approached on a motorcycle, executed the attack, and swiftly departed.
Nearby shopkeepers acted quickly, transporting Yadav to Sadar Hospital after hearing the commotion.
Local merchants speculated that the attackers had planned the incident ahead of time, as they arrived with their faces already obscured.
The event unfolded in one of the city's most bustling areas, occurring mere hours after SHO Manoj Kumar Singh received directives from Superintendent of Police (SP) Shubham Arya to ensure law and order.
SP Arya himself arrived at the scene with a team of officers and is personally supervising the investigation.
Senior officials, led by SP Arya, are working tirelessly to capture those responsible.
