Union Home Minister Amit Shah to Visit Bhubaneswar on December 28

Bhubaneswar, Dec 26 (NationPress) The Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to arrive in Bhubaneswar on December 28, according to Vijaypal Singh Tomar, who is in charge of the BJP in Odisha, announced on Thursday.

Tomar mentioned that Home Minister Shah will land at Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar during the evening of December 28 and will return to Delhi on the night of December 29.

During his time in the state, Amit Shah is expected to engage in significant government events.

The BJP's state in-charge also indicated that party members will provide full support in organizing Amit Shah's public events, while government officials will manage his official engagements.

"He (Amit Shah) will arrive on December 28 in the evening. He will stay overnight in Bhubaneswar. On December 29, his schedule includes attending events related to ITBP, a university, and a function at a sports stadium," stated the BJP's state representative on Thursday.

However, Tomar clarified that Amit Shah's itinerary does not include Sambalpur.

Reports suggest that during his brief visit to Odisha, Amit Shah is likely to join a party meeting via video conference from Bhubaneswar on the morning of December 29.

The meeting will see the participation of the Presidents of all BJP state units, Organizational General Secretaries, state in-charges, deputy in-charges, along with other national party leaders, and will take place in Delhi on December 29.

Amit Shah is also anticipated to partake in a program in Bhubaneswar, which will include attendance from BJP MLAs, MPs, and other party workers from the state.

In discussions with the media, Tomar noted that the party is currently engaged in finalizing the presidents at the district level across all 30 districts of the state.

Amit Shah was previously in Bhubaneswar from November 29 to December 1 for the three-day all-India DG/IGP conference.
