Prime Minister Modi Arrives in Bhubaneswar for Three-Day Odisha Engagement

Bhubaneswar, Nov 28 (NationPress) Final arrangements are being completed for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit, scheduled for Friday, to participate in the three-day long DG/IGP conference taking place from November 29 to December 1.

PM Modi is expected to land at the Biju Patnaik International Airport at 4.20 p.m. on Friday. Following a warm welcome from party leaders, a brief felicitation will occur near the airport, where he is anticipated to arrive by 4.30 p.m. Subsequently, he will head to the Governor's house at 5.05 p.m., greeted by the public with various cultural presentations and traditional musical performances along the route to Raj Bhawan,” stated Golak Mohapatra, the Odisha BJP Vice-President, on Thursday.

The senior BJP official added that PM Modi is set to reach the BJP state office at 6.30 p.m. to convene a meeting with party MLAs, MPs, ministers, and core committee members. Afterward, he will enjoy dinner and participate in a photo session with party leaders.

PM Modi will depart the party office for Raj Bhawan at 8.30 p.m. in the evening.

Mohapatra mentioned that PM Modi will engage in discussions with party leaders about the development issues facing Odisha during the meeting at the party office.

The Prime Minister is anticipated to review various welfare initiatives and development projects initiated by the state government.

The senior BJP leader also emphasized that PM Modi's visit will be significant, as no Prime Minister has previously remained in Odisha for three consecutive days.

PM Modi is slated to participate in the DG/IGP conference on November 30 and December 1.

It is noteworthy that Union Home Minister Amit Shah will arrive in Bhubaneswar before PM Modi on Friday.

Amit Shah, accompanied by National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, senior officials from the Intelligence Bureau, DGPs of all states, the D-G of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), and heads of Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), National Security Guard (NSG), and Special Protection Group (SPG).
