The District Magistrate instructed all contractors to guarantee full compliance with government regulations and cautioned that any misconduct from workers would be the responsibility of the associated agency.
"In such situations, severe actions, including blacklisting and license revocation, could be taken against the involved agency," she warned.
In reference to the minimum wage rates established by the state government, she noted that unskilled laborers are entitled to ₹13,690 monthly, semi-skilled workers should receive ₹15,059, while skilled workers should earn ₹16,868.
She urged contractors to ensure that these wages are fully adhered to and deposited directly into the workers' bank accounts. The District Magistrate made it clear that any breach of wage regulations or exploitation of workers would lead to stringent measures, according to the statement.
Highlighting the interconnectedness of industries, employers, and laborers, she remarked that the smooth operation of industrial establishments is crucial for protecting jobs, while stable employment conditions are essential for securing workers' futures.
She pointed out that any disruption in industrial operations negatively impacts all stakeholders and the overall growth of the region.
The District Magistrate also called on stakeholders to remain vigilant against rumors and misinformation, advocating for cooperation and mutual trust to sustain industrial harmony.

The meeting was attended by Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue) Atul Kumar, Deputy Director (Factories) Brajesh, officials from relevant departments, and representatives from various contracting agencies operating within industrial units.
