Lucknow, March 23 (NationPress) Significant resolutions concerning infrastructure, information technology, electronics, law enforcement, education, and industrial growth were made during the Cabinet and Council of Ministers assembly at Lok Bhavan in Lucknow on Monday, presided over by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
The measures are anticipated to inject fresh momentum and vigor into the state government’s mission of establishing a self-sufficient and progressive Uttar Pradesh, while simplifying, securing, and enhancing the quality of life for its residents.
The state administration reported that numerous proposals across essential sectors were deliberated upon during the meeting, aimed at expediting development and fortifying governance within the state.
Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak stated that over 37 proposals were evaluated and approved during the Cabinet assembly.
“Today, more than 37 proposals were discussed and ratified in the Cabinet meeting. Our pledge is towards comprehensive advancement for Uttar Pradesh,” Pathak remarked to the media following the meeting.
He further emphasized that the government is dedicated to enhancing infrastructure, public services, and law enforcement within the state.
Pathak also took a jab at the Opposition Samajwadi Party, claiming that during their governance, the safety and dignity of women faced constant threats, whereas the current administration has focused on bolstering security and ensuring respect for women.
Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya referred to the resolutions taken during the Cabinet meeting as historic, emphasizing that they are designed for public welfare, especially benefiting the underprivileged.
“Today marks the adoption of historic decisions for the public good and the welfare of the impoverished. The support price for the Rabi crop has also been established,” Maurya stated.
He also mentioned that the Uttar Pradesh government has now reached nine years in power and has instructed all district ministers to visit their respective areas to communicate the government’s accomplishments during this duration.
“Ministers are mandated to travel to their districts and share the government’s achievements over the last nine years with the populace,” Maurya noted.
He reiterated the government’s commitment to welfare initiatives, particularly for farmers.
“Our administration is devoted to the welfare of the poor, women, farmers, and youth. This season, the Rabi crop has been remarkable. Although adverse weather has caused some damage to farmers, assessments will be conducted promptly, and compensation will be assured,” he mentioned.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Jal Shakti Minister Swatantra Dev Singh indicated that directives have been issued to guarantee that essential supplies reach every household.
“All responsible ministers have been instructed to ensure that there is no gas shortage. They should ensure that gas supplies reach every home in their districts,” he added.
The Cabinet meeting highlighted the state government’s ongoing dedication to development, welfare programs, and strengthening governance across Uttar Pradesh.
