Nuremberg, Feb 24 (NationPress) During a significant trip to Germany, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya emphasized the state's growing economic potential at a special dinner in Nuremberg, which was attended by Indian Ambassador Ajit Gupte and various esteemed guests.

The dialogue underscored Uttar Pradesh's rapid progress towards becoming India's second-largest economy, facilitated by substantial improvements in the ease of conducting business, enhanced law and order, and vigorous infrastructure development.

Attendees noted the state's expanding network of expressways, ongoing airport upgrades, and the development of new industrial corridors that are attracting increasing international investor interest.

Conversations also delved into opportunities for stronger bilateral partnerships between Germany and Uttar Pradesh, particularly in sectors such as technology exchange, skill development, and manufacturing.

The Deputy Chief Minister highlighted the transformative journey of the state under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, transitioning from a traditional Uttar Pradesh to a vibrant enterprise state. He reaffirmed the government's dedication to providing all necessary support to foreign investors looking for opportunities in the region.

The following day, a strategic meeting was held at Le Méridien in Germany with representatives from prominent German-Israeli drone and aerospace companies, including Quantum-Systems GmbH, System Helsing (HX-2 AI combat drone), Dronivo GmbH, SIA Origin Robotics, and Aronia.

These companies presented their capabilities in high-altitude unmanned aerial systems, advanced aerial surveillance, defense-grade reconnaissance, and drones with an operational range of about 160 kilometers.

Their technologies are utilized by armed forces in Germany and Spain and support applications in precision agriculture, land surveying, and disaster management.

The Uttar Pradesh government extended a formal invitation for these firms to establish manufacturing units and research and development centers in the state.

Information was shared regarding investment-friendly policies, solid industrial infrastructure, excellent logistics connectivity, and a substantial skilled workforce.

The Deputy Chief Minister characterized Uttar Pradesh as emerging as the country's premier hub for defense production, aerospace manufacturing, and advanced technologies, with drones and unmanned systems being essential components of future economic and security strategies.

These investments are anticipated to create high-skilled employment opportunities for the youth of the state while boosting technology-driven growth by integrating electronics manufacturing, data, artificial intelligence, and the drone ecosystem.

Both parties reached a favorable agreement on long-term cooperation in manufacturing, research, skill development, technical training, and technology transfer.

This collaboration is expected to enhance India's aerospace and unmanned systems ecosystem and position Uttar Pradesh as a global center for drone innovation, aligning with the goals of Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat.
