Uttar Pradesh Delegation Visits Jharkhand to Invite Residents for Prayagraj Mahakumbh 2025

Ranchi, Dec 24 (NationPress) A high-ranking delegation from the Uttar Pradesh government is currently visiting Jharkhand to formally invite its residents to the Prayagraj Mahakumbh 2025.
In line with this initiative, Uttar Pradesh ministers Yogendra Upadhyay and Suresh Rahi met with Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar and Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Tuesday.
The ministers presented them with holy Ganga water, a symbol of the Mahakumbh, along with an official invitation from UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Additionally, the ministers held a roadshow in Ranchi earlier in the day, inviting residents to partake in this grand spiritual event.
During a press conference, they indicated that over 45 crore devotees are anticipated to join the Mahakumbh, a 45-day festival celebrated every 12 years.
Designated by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity, this iteration of the Mahakumbh is poised to be divine, grand, and eco-friendly, with thorough preparations by the Uttar Pradesh government.
The ministers stressed that the Mahakumbh presents a unique chance for spiritual growth and a deeper exploration of Indian culture and traditions. “For the first time, the event will incorporate advanced digital measures. QR code-based vehicle passes, a multilingual digital lost-and-found centre, and software-driven tent city allocation will guarantee effective management. Headcount monitoring will also be managed using modern technology,” they explained.
The Jharkhand government has provided essential safety guidelines for pilgrims heading to Prayagraj Mahakumbh 2025. They have urged pilgrims to download the Mahakumbh Mela 2025 mobile app, arrange accommodations prior to travel, and ensure health check-ups for those over 60 or with pre-existing conditions.
This grand event, regarded as the largest public gathering globally, attracts millions of pilgrims, ascetics, saints, sadhus, and devotees from every corner of India and beyond. It promises to unite millions in a celebration of spirituality, culture, and tradition.
The Uttar Pradesh government is making extensive efforts to ensure that Mahakumbh 2025 is a spectacular event and an unforgettable experience for all devotees.
