Bhopal, Nov 2 (NationPress) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, on Sunday, introduced a magnificent theatrical extravaganza that celebrates the legendary Emperor Vikramaditya, seamlessly merging ancient heritage with a contemporary cultural renaissance, all under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's guiding principle: "Vikas bhi, Virasat bhi" -- development alongside tradition.

In an impactful announcement from Bhopal, known as the "City of Lakes", Chief Minister Yadav revealed that the "Samrat Vikramaditya Mahanatya", a grand production, will enchant audiences at the historic Lal Parade Ground on November 2 and 3, 2025, starting at 6:30 p.m.

Yadav stated, "Episodes from 'Samrat Vikramaditya Mahanritya' will be showcased in Sinhasan Battisi", extending an enthusiastic invitation to all Bhopal residents to immerse themselves in the timeless narrative of valor, astute governance, and unwavering justice.

This performance serves as a homecoming celebration for Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day, drawing inspiration from the legendary king's throne of 32 celestial nymphs.

Previously, during a press conference in Bhopal, flanked by prominent figures from the RSS-affiliated Sanskar Bharati, Chief Minister Yadav underscored the event's significance in reviving India's glorious past.

He declared, "This opulent drama -- focusing on Emperor Vikramaditya, who established a governance model based on exemplary administration over two millennia ago -- will come alive at the Lal Parade Ground."

Nearly 250 performers, hailing from various backgrounds yet united in passion, will bring vivid scenes to life on stage.

Enhancing the spectacle, elephants, horses, and ornate palanquins will "processionally" evoke the grandeur of bygone eras.

Chief Minister Yadav praised PM Modi's guiding philosophy as a beacon, asserting that heritage and progress must advance together.

He affirmed, "We are enshrining our 'virasat within vikas'", positioning the Mahanatya as more than mere entertainment, but as a cultural rallying cry.

Earlier this year, the grand spectacle of Samrat Vikramaditya Mahanatya was performed at the majestic ramparts of Delhi's Red Fort, vividly honoring Emperor Vikramaditya's enduring virtues of fairness, bravery, and commitment to the people's well-being.

In conjunction, Madhya Pradesh Tourism's vibrant showcase highlighted the region's timeless treasures, scenic wonders, and sacred sites.

In ancient Ujjain, the wise and valiant Emperor Vikramaditya ascends the legendary Sinhasan Battisi -- a throne guarded by 32 celestial nymphs, each representing a virtue.

To secure his rightful rule, Vikramaditya must navigate their riddles and challenges, confronting demons, treacherous courtiers, and dark sorcery.
